Coronavirus Update

The latest information to support you through COVID-19

In the interest of supporting all of our customers we have made some changes to assist during this difficult time.

Here at ENSA, we hope you are keeping safe, looking after yourself & your loved ones during this difficult time. We acknowledge the challenges facing the community as a result of the Coronavirus global pandemic. Everyone has their role to play in supporting the Australian community through this, including the energy sector. Right now, our priority is supporting you and keeping the lights on in your home or business.

We have implemented new measures to support our customers during this difficult time. Effective immediately to at least 31st July, these include:

  • No disconnections of power to any residential or small business customer in financial stress until 31st July 2020
  • Offering payment plans, payment extensions or hardship arrangements to any residential or small business customers who may be in financial stress
  • Late payment fees abolished
  • No default listing for customers who are having trouble paying invoices
  • Waiving disconnection/reconnection and contract break fees for small business who have stopped trading due to Coronavirus



Network Relief:

Energy Networks Australia released a Network relief package on 2nd April, 2020. This package was aimed at small business and residential customers of Australian Energy Retailers, who have fallen into hardship as a result of Coronavirus. As it stands, a relief package has not yet been offered to Embedded Networks. We are working with suppliers, networks & regulators to ensure our customers can also seek the same relief and assistance on offer to non-embedded network customers.
